📧jakub.bronik@junge-generation.org

We are delighted to announce the next KTG Young Generation Excursion!
It will take place on Friday, 17 July 2026, at Becker Technologies GmbH in Hochheim am Main. The event offers an excellent opportunity to gain an insight into the company’s current projects and extensive expertise in the fields of thermohydraulics, reactor safety and hydrogen technologies.

The programme includes a guided tour of the THAI+ facility, where large-scale experiments on gas dynamics, hydrogen distribution and safety-relevant test conditions are carried out. There will also be an opportunity to view the hydrogen recombination test setup, which was developed for fusion applications.

On the evening before the excursion (Thursday, 16 July), there will be an informal get-together with a short seminar; further details will follow shortly. Following the technical tours on Friday, lunch will be provided by KTG JG, whilst Becker Technologies will provide the drinks.

After lunch, there will be a short seminar featuring a round of introductions and brief presentations by participants on their work, study or research interests – a great opportunity to chat and get to know one another.

The event will be held in English.

Summary:
16.07.: own arrival and inofficial meet-up with a short seminar
17.07.: technical visit and short seminar, afterwards own departure
